Both are now in their second editions. The first editions were best-sellers in the Jossey-Bass/Pfeiffer Organization Practitioner Series. Ms. Ackerman Anderson led the thirty-year development of Being First’s renowned change process methodology, The Change Leader’s Roadmap. The industry journal, The Organization Development Practitioner, calls the Andersons’ Change Leader’s Roadmap methodology “the most comprehensive and immediately usable of all approaches available.” Ms. Ackerman Anderson also devotes herself to supporting women as leaders of change, and is currently finishing her next book on working women’s issues.
Ms. Ackerman Anderson has published over fifty articles on change leadership, including Awake at the Wheel: Moving Beyond Change Management to Conscious Change Leadership and Development, Transition or Transformation: Bringing Change Leadership into the 21st Century. Ms. Ackerman Anderson received her M.A. from Columbia University’s Teachers College and her B.A. degree from Boston University. She is an exceptional artist, creating magical pieces of art out of all things natural. She lives between two wilderness ranches in Southwest Colorado and loves being in the outdoors with her husband, Dean, and daughter, Terra, now a thriving college student.
