Linda Ackerman Anderson<\/strong> is co-founder of Being First, Inc., a consulting, training and publishing firm specializing in change leadership development and transformational change for Fortune 1000 businesses, government, the military, and large not-for-profit organizations. Linda is a masterful change strategist and speaks about leading organizational change\u00a0at national and international conferences. She is known as an inspiring model of her message who devotes herself to teaching others the best practices she has developed from over thirty years of being a coach to senior executive change leaders. Key areas of her consulting specialty include assisting senior leaders to sort through the chaos of transformational change\u00a0to develop change processes that produce extraordinary business outcomes while simultaneously transforming organizational culture. She spends a significant amount of her time developing conscious change consultants and equipping them with the insights and methods to become experts in their fields.<\/p>\n

Ms. Ackerman Anderson\u2019s client list includes the Canadian Government, Intel, Shell, Lockheed Martin, The Nature Conservancy, DTE Energy, US West, Hewlett-Packard, Pacific Gas and Electric, Kaiser Permanente, the U.S. Army and Navy, and Honeywell.<\/p>\n

Ms. Ackerman Anderson and her partner, Dean Anderson, are perceived as thought leaders in the field of change management and shifting organizational mindset and culture as drivers of transformation. Jim Kouzes, best-selling author of The Leadership Challenge<\/em>, calls Linda and Dean \u201cthe leading authorities on change leadership and organization transformation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ms. Ackerman Anderson co-authored with Dean Anderson the seminal books on conscious change leadership, Beyond Change Management: How to Achieve Breakthrough Results through Conscious Change Leadership<\/em> and The Change Leader\u2019s Roadmap: How to Navigate Your Organization\u2019s Transformation<\/em>. Both are now in their second editions. The first editions were best-sellers in the Jossey-Bass\/Pfeiffer Organization Practitioner Series. Daryl Conner, leading authority on change management, says these books were \u201cwritten by masters of transformation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ms. Ackerman Anderson led the thirty-year development of Being First\u2019s renowned change process methodology, The Change Leader\u2019s Roadmap<\/em>. The industry journal, The Organization Development Practitioner<\/em>, calls the Andersons’ Change Leader\u2019s Roadmap methodology “the most comprehensive and immediately usable of all approaches available.” Ms. Ackerman Anderson also devotes herself to supporting women as leaders of change, and is currently finishing her next book on working women\u2019s issues.<\/p>\n

Ms. Ackerman Anderson has published over fifty articles on change leadership, including Awake at the Wheel: Moving Beyond Change Management to Conscious Change Leadership<\/em> and Development, Transition or Transformation: Bringing Change Leadership into the 21st Century<\/em>.\u00a0 She was a founding leader of the field of Organization Transformation in the 1980\u2019s. Ms. Ackerman Anderson received her M.A. from Columbia University\u2019s Teachers College and her B.A. degree from Boston University. She is an exceptional artist, creating magical pieces of art out of all things natural. She lives between two wilderness ranches in Southwest Colorado and loves being in the outdoors with her husband, Dean, and daughter, Terra, now a thriving college student.
